LINC³ | ID
Terms of Service
Last updated August 23, 2026
Welcome to LINC³ | ID. These Terms of Service describe the rules for using the LINC³ | ID application. Please read them carefully — they cover important topics like acceptable use, healthcare disclaimers, and how we handle your content.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a LINC³ | ID account or otherwise using the LINC³ | ID application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use LINC³ | ID
The Service is intended for adult (18+) healthcare, licensed, or credentialed professionals who wish to organize their own professional identifiers, credentials, and related documents in one place. You represent that you are eligible to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and that the information you provide about yourself is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the email address below if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use LINC³ | ID only for lawful purposes and only to store your own professional information (or information you have explicit authority to store on behalf of an entity you represent, such as your solo practice or PLLC).
Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights or violates any law.
Do not attempt to gain access to other users’ data, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
Do not use LINC³ | ID to store or transmit protected health information (PHI) or patient records — the Service is not a Business Associate under HIPAA and is not designed for that use.
Do not impersonate another person, spoof credentials, or knowingly upload falsified professional documents.
5. Healthcare disclaimer
LINC³ | ID is a personal organizational tool for licensed professionals. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice, and is not intended for use in clinical decision-making or in workflows that require HIPAA compliance. You are solely responsible for compliance with the professional, licensing, and regulatory requirements that apply to your practice.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload to LINC³ | ID (documents, credentials, notes). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your content solely as needed to operate the Service for you. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your content or personal information.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you upload and for keeping your own backup copies of anything critical.
7. Our intellectual property
The LINC³ | ID name, logo, and application (including its design, features, and code) are the property of LINC³ | ID and its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service.
8. Third-party services
LINC³ | ID integrates with third-party services (for example, Google Sign-In for authentication, an AI provider for Smart Capture, and a transactional email provider for delivering in-app feedback). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third parties.
9. Fees
If we introduce paid features in the future, we will present the applicable fees and terms clearly before you subscribe. The Service is otherwise offered free of charge in its current form.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at the email below. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these terms, that create risk for other users or for us, or that have been inactive for an extended period. On termination, we will delete your account content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from third-party interference.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINC³ | ID and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you have paid us nothing, US $100).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LINC³ | ID harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LINC³ | ID is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
